Fitness Scavenger Hunt

A fitness-themed scavenger hunt is a fantastic way to combine physical activity with fun and exploration. This isn’t your average scavenger hunt where you go out and hunt down specific items! This scavenger hunt lets you explore your environment to find areas that you can do various physical activities. You get to explore your area, get some fresh air, and move your body. It’s designed to do by yourself or with a friend! Try this fun scavenger hunt to get moving:
Fitness Scavenger Hunt:
- Jumping Jack Junction: Find a spot where you can perform 20 jumping jacks. Feel the energy pumping through your body as you jump and clap your hands overhead.
- Squat Spot: Locate a bench or sturdy surface and do 15 bodyweight squats. Lower yourself as if you’re about to sit down, keeping your knees behind your toes and chest lifted.
- Push-Up Point: Find an open area and complete 10 push-ups. You can do them against a wall, on your knees, or in a full plank position, depending on your fitness level.
- Step-Up Station: Locate a set of stairs or a sturdy platform and do 10 step-ups on each leg. Step onto the surface with one foot, then bring the other foot up to meet it before stepping back down.
- Balance Beam: Walk along a curb or low wall, maintaining your balance as you go. Challenge yourself to walk the entire length without stepping off.
- Lunge Lane: Find a clear path and perform 10 lunges on each leg. Take a big step forward with one foot, lowering your back knee toward the ground while keeping your front knee bent at a 90-degree angle.
- Plank Plaza: Hold a plank position for 30 seconds to 1 minute, depending on your strength and endurance. Keep your body in a straight line from head to heels, engaging your core and glutes.
- Dance Floor: Take a break from traditional exercises and bust out your best dance moves for 2 minutes. Let loose and have fun grooving to the music!
- Water Break: Find a water fountain or hydration station and take a refreshing drink to stay hydrated during your scavenger hunt adventure.
- Cool Down Corner: Finish your scavenger hunt by finding a quiet spot to stretch and cool down. Spend a few minutes stretching your muscles to prevent stiffness and promote flexibility.
